Girls and Boys High School Slalom race on the Practice Slope. We received 4 inches of new snow overnight, 7 inches in the past 2 days, and 17 inches in the past 3 days. We have 5 lifts operating, Sterling, Madonna 2, Village, Madonna 2, and Sir Henry’s Glider. We have 31 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with average base depths of 10 to 40 inches. 19 trails have been groomed for today including, Garden Path, Lower Chilcoot, Black Snake, Smugglers’ Alley, and Midway for a total of 109 acres of freshly groomed terrain. We are presently making snow on Upper Chilcoot, Waterfall, McPherson’s, Madonna base area, and Mulcahy’s Link. Currently, it is snowing and 1 degree at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 20 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for snow showers 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible, windy, with a high of 15 degrees at the base and 11 degrees at higher elevations. Great conditions!
