“I loved the community feel and especially the text messages from Smuggs. We visited for a stay and play weekend and from check in felt like we were home away from home. Even the special touches of a cider in our gift bag was really sweet as members of our party had a food allergy. The condo was warm and clean and fit us perfectly. I can’t wait to come back for another stay and play weekend for disc golf next year!”

Fall Reviews

Clicia from Methuen, MA
“Beautiful resort to spend time with the family. Everyone was very friendly. The Unit was super clean and provided all neccesary amenities to make our stay perfect.”
-
Diana from Barrington, NH
“Our families had a great time! I traveled with my husband and 5 year old as well as my brother, his wife, and two children (3 & 5). The condo we stayed in was huge! We loved having all the space for the kids. It was nice to have access to the different pools and kid zone with the daycation passes included in the package. The resort is beautiful! We can’t wait to come back in the winter or summer and check out the other amenities and do some skiing. The check-in staff were so nice! I told them we were looking for options to watch football on Sunday during our stay and they quickly researched some good restaurants (kid friendly) for me. The woman that checked me in, I forget her name, was very thorough and didn’t leave any detail out. Great experience!”

Antoinette from Albany, NY
“We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo at Aspen. The rooms were huge and very well furnished. The kitchen was great with all the appliances and dishes you would need. Bathrooms, towels and amenities were wonderful. A great place to relax and gather with our friends in the large living room and dining area combined. The walk up and down the hill was energizing. Not much was open as the facility was under maintenance. Great views from the deck of the mountains. Definitely would love to return in the Fall to see the colors.”
-
Susan from Marstons Mills, MA
“Amazing place. We liked our accommodation very much – spacious, light and well-equipped. The dinner at Hearth and Candle was outstanding!”
-
Mark from Thornville, OH
“Given this was our first trip to Smugg’s, it exceeded our expectations in almost every area! Our unit in Mountain Laurels was so cozy and clean, with everything in working order. We cooked dinner in our lodge twice, and had no trouble with the appliances, or locating everything. The bed was as comfortable as ever, and the rooms were spotless. The speakers with the blue ray device were a great way to stream our own music from our phones. We can’t wait to visit Smugg’s again!”
-
Erin from Melrose, MA
“Very positive, comfortable room, tasty dining options, beautiful surroundings, lots to do, great weather! We had great food during our stay, especially dinners and bag lunches provided for the group.”
Winter Reviews
-
Nicole from Windermere, FL
“Our extended family of 10 (ages 2 to 75) has spent a ski week at Smugglers for the past 3 yrs and will soon book our same 3 condos in the base village for next year. Everyone loves it. Tons for everyone to do. It beats Disney World and cruises and that’s saying something. The staff is pleasant and helpfulin every way, no better place for a family vacation. It is old school in many ways – one of the reasons we love it – but up to speed when it matters like excellent WiFi, daycare, shuttle service, communications. We can’t say enough good things about SMUGGS.”

Cheryl from Waterford, PA
“our family time. The younger ones enjoyed skiing very much. (daugher, son-in-law, and their 3 kids). Smuggs is their favorite place to ski of all the places in USA they have skied. Grandparents loved the time spent with family in evenings and enjoyed making new memories.”
-
Michael from Riva, MD
“The ski runs were long, varied, and majestic at this “throw-back” resort. We went to ski and skiing we did. My family had a wonderful time and would definitely return. Smuggs is not nearly as polished as other resorts, the ski slopes were on par, if not better, than other places. While there were little to no lines to get onto the lifts, the ascent was slow due to what I assume is the age of the lifts. Every lift was a 2 seater and moved slowly. While this was more of a problem in negative temperatures, it was actually nice to have additional time to take in the views. Everyone we met was very pleasant.”

“The Smugglers Notch resort never disappoints; it great place to have fun with a whole family. Ski in/out is the best way to enjoy the winter vacation. The resort offers verity of things to do during the day and evenings. We never get bored there and keep coming back for more!”

Anna
“Great resort! We had a really great family time. All of the ski instructors were great and we really saw the results of children’s skiing skills. Thank You!!!”
-
Lauren from Sarasota, FL
“Our 12 year old daughter had the best time in the first timers ski camp! She was begging to go back for a second day!”
Spring Reviews
-
Audra from Bourne, MA
“Excellent! We picked a week where everything slows down and not much was open or in full swing. While other people may not share on our delight it was just what we needed. Our needs were met by resort staff moving our room to a bottom floor due to mobility issues. Overall a wonderful stay and we would love to come back and do some of the resort offerings when available. This was another bonus to focus on the surroundings and absorb the streams and trails nearby.”
