Enjoy snowshoeing and walking treks, indulge in specialty maple-inspired food and beverages, and savor delicious maple-themed dishes at our restaurants.

VT MapleFest Celebration Features:

  • March 22 & 23 – Maple Open House Weekend
    • Celebrate Vermont Maple! Experience a live boil, sugar house tours, activities for the whole family, and plenty of maple treats! For a listing of open sugar houses around the state, visit vermontmaple.org
  • Self-Guided Local Maple House Tour
    • Learn about the inner workings of local sugar houses.
  • Thursday 10:00 am – Maple Experience Snowshoe Trek – Intermediate level.
    • Join us on a guided trek through Vermont’s pristine woods and learn about the liquid gold that runs through our maple trees. Learn to identify the different types of ample trees and techniques involved in maple sugaring, a time-honored Vermont tradition. Weather and trail conditions permitting. $35 per person, equipment provided. Preregistration required.
  • Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
    Family Snowshoe Maple Scavenger Hunt—Join us for a maple-themed, self-guided family adventure. Strap on snowshoes, follow our clues, and enjoy exploring our beautiful trails. Complete your adventure with a bonfire!! $15 per person. Preregistration required.
