We are in a winter storm warning from now until Thursday night, with up to 18 inches of new snow possible by Friday night! Currently, it is snowing hard, and 27 degrees at the summit of Sterling. We could see 2 to 4 inches of new snow tonight. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for periods of snow with another 5 to 9 inches of accumulation possible; windy, with a high of 31 degrees at the base and 25 degrees at higher elevations. Tomorrow, we plan to have 4 lifts operating: Madonna I, Sterling, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, and Sir Henry’s Glider. We have 31 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. More trails may open throughout the day. 24 trails will be groomed for tomorrow; that’s a total of 104 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable, with average base depths of 6 to 32 inches. Birch Run Terrain Park is open with 8 features. We will see powder conditions tomorrow!
