We are presently making snow on Lower Morse Liftline, Sir Henry’s, Magic Learning Trail, and Howie’s Wanderer. Currently, it is cloudy and 19 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 0 to 5 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies with a chance of snow showers late in the day an inch of accumulation possible, a high of 28 degrees at the base and 25 degrees at higher elevations. Today we plan to have the Sterling Lift operating with 25 trails open. We have terrain for intermediates and experts only at this time, but we are making snow on beginner terrain right now. We did not receive much new snow overnight, but the last 11 days we sure have. 10 inches in the past 48 hours, 28 inches in the 5 days, and 46 inches in the past 11 days! Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with average base depths of 12 to 42 inches.
