We received 6 inches of new snow overnight and 8 inches in the past 2 days. We are in the middle of a Winter Weather Warning with another 11 inches of new snow possible in the next 24 hours. Currently, it is snowing and 15 degrees at the summit of the Village Lift with winds of 10 to 20 mph. The Sterling Lift and Madonna II Lift are presently on wind hold. We have 20 skiable trails and 7 lift-accessible trails open today. We presently have 3 lifts operating, Village, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, and Sir Henry’s Glider. All 7 trails have been groomed for today. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 10 to 40 inches. Today’s forecast is calling for periods of snow 3 to 7 inches of accumulation possible, windy, with a high of 27 degrees at the base and 21 degrees at higher elevations. Snowmaking resumes today on Black Snake, Snake Bite, and the Practice Slope.
