We received 3 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours, 6 inches in the past 48 hours, and 19 inches in the past 4 days. We could see another 1 to 3 inches of new snow tonight. We now have 25 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Tomorrow we plan to have 5 lifts operating, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, Village, Sterling, Madonna 2, and Sir Henry’s Glider. We are presently making snow on Birch Run, Snake Bite, Practice Slope, and Black Snake. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 10 to 40 inches. 15 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Meadowlark, Lower Chilcoot, Smugglers’ Alley, and Garden Path for a total of 97 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Currently, it is 4 degrees at the summit of Sterling with flurries. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies with a chance of snow showers less than an inch of accumulation, with a high of 7 degrees at the base and 4 degrees at higher elevations. Layer up and enjoy the wonderful conditions.
