More new snow

3 Mountain Logo

We received 6 inches of new snow on top of Madonna overnight and 18 inches in the past 4 days. We have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We have 76 out of 78 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 14 to 46 inches. 33 trails have been groomed for today, including Snow Snake, Curley’s Cutback, Drifter, McPherson’s, Jolly Rodger, and Smugglers’ Alley for a total of 176 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Currently, it is cloudy and 10 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies, snow showers 1 to 2 inches of accumulation possible with a high of 23 degrees at the base and 19 degrees at higher elevations. Today there is a 3* Freeski Competition on Madonna Liftline from mid-station down to Mulcahy’s Link. The feature photo is of Upper Morse Liftline. These kids got to the Village Lift early this morning to make sure that they were the first chair of the day. The early bird gets the powder! Seeing this kind of passion to get fresh tracks really makes me happy.
