We received 4 inches of the fluffy stuff overnight, 9 inches in the past 3 days, and 89 inches in February so far! We have all 8 lifts operating on 3 big mountains. We have 77 out of 78 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 14 to 52 inches. Currently, it is snowing and 16 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 15 to 25 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for snow showers another 1 to 2 inches of accumulation, breezy with a high of 26 degrees at the base and 21 degrees at higher elevations. 35 trails have been groomed for today, including Drifter, Snow Snake, and Smugglers’ Alley for a total of 178 acres of freshly groomed terrain. There is a 3* Freeski Competition today on Madonna Liftline from mid-station down to Link.
