New snow and colder temperatures

3 Mountain Logo

We are getting closer to Opening Day, it won’t be long now! We received 6 inches of heavy snow in the past 24 hours and the snow guns are running. We are presently making snow on Smugglers’ Alley and Upper Rumrunner. Stay tuned for updates of when the Sterling Lift will open.

At this time, we are asking skiers and riders to not climb Sterling Mountain due to snowmaking operations. Madonna Mountain is presently open to uphill travel, but is not recommended due to thin cover.
