It’s opening day here at Smuggs for the 2024/25 winter season, and we couldn’t be more excited to get things started! With Mother Nature’s help and our amazing mountain ops team, Sterling Lift is running today with 20 runs offering terrain for intermediate and advanced skiers and riders! As always, the Black Bear Tavern will be open, offering a full food and drink menu with 12 draft beers on tap. While you’re there, check out some new additions to the base lodge. First off is the Stache. Your one-stop slope side shop on the base lodge’s main floor offers high-end apparel, top-notch gear, and everything you need for a great day on the slopes! Right next to it is the new Bear Den. A mellow, intimate space with convenient charging stations and QR codes for easy access to our Black Bear Tavern menu and drinks with wait-staffed service. The weather throughout the weekend will stay nice and cold, so we can keep running those guns and continue to add that fluffy stuff to what’s already a great start to the season.
