Skiing and riding on all 3 mountains!

3 Mountain Logo

I would like to give a huge shout-out to our mountain operations team. To get another mountain open takes a great deal of work. Our snowmakers, groomers, ski patrol, lift maintenance, and lift attendants have done a wonderful job of getting the Madonna II Lift open. We now have 5 lifts operating and 47 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 19 trails have been groomed for today, including Smugglers’ Alley, Lower Chilcoot, and Sam’s Run, for a total of 80 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable, with average base depths of 14 to 38 inches. We received 2 inches of new snow overnight. Currently, it is cloudy and 16 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 15 mph. Today’s forecast calls for cloudy skies with snow showers developing and 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible, a high of 24 degrees at the base and 18 degrees at higher elevations.
