Uphill travel and lift operations

We’re undergoing a weather change that could affect operations tomorrow.  We may have some delayed openings in the morning on the upper mountains due to grooming as we’re expecting a late freeze tonight.  Morning Uphill on Sterling is closed.

Tomorrow we plan to have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We presently have all 78 trails with terrain for all ability levels. Some trails may close in the morning. 35 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Snow Snake, and Drifter for a grand total of 143 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine-groomed and variable with average base depths of 20 to 50 inches. Currently, it is 30 degrees at the summit with mixed precipitation. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for early sunny skies with a chance of snow showers later in the day, a high of 34 degrees at the base, and 26 degrees at higher elevations. The forecast for Saturday night is snow showers with 1 to 2 inches of accumulation possible.
