Winter returns

3 Mountain Logo

We received 9 inches of new snow in the past 36 hours and 357 inches this season so far. The conditions were just amazing today with every trail on Sterling open. I kept going back to Harvey’s Hideaway and Full Nelson because it was too good not to! Tomorrow we plan to have the Sterling Lift operating with 30 trails open for intermediates and experts only. 11 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Thomke’s, Snake Bite, and Smugglers’ Alley. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 12 to 50 inches. Currently, it is sunny and 20 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies early with increasing clouds throughout the day, a high of 45 degrees at the base and 41 degrees at higher elevations. It is going to be another great day on the slopes!
