Winter returns tomorrow

Temperatures will be falling through the night. To provide the best conditions, we need to wait until surfaces freeze before grooming the trails. Higher elevations will freeze first and we will groom accordingly. Grooming operations will cause lift delays and here is our intended schedule.

Sterling Lift; 9 am opening

Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift to mid-station and Sir Henry’s; 9:30 am opening

Village Lift, Highlands Lift, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift to the top; 10 am opening

Madonna II Lift; 10 am or possibly later

Madonna I closed for the day

Check the report in the morning for any updates. Tomorrow, we plan to have 28 trails open. All 28 trails will be groomed for tomorrow for a total of 119 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and loose granular with average base depths of 8 to 36 inches. Tonight’s forecast calls for snow showers with 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for partly sunny skies, windy, with a high of 13 degrees at the base and 5 degrees at higher elevations. Be sure to dry out your equipment tonight if you were on the slopes today. Bundle up tomorrow and enjoy the new snow. We plan to resume snowmaking operations tomorrow night on Morse Mountain.
