Last night and early this morning, we made snow on Lower Morse Liftline, Sir Henry’s, Howie’s Wanderer, and the Magic Learning Trail. We received 10 inches of new snow in the past 48 hours and 28 inches in the past 5 days. There is snow in the forecast for tonight, with 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for cloudy skies, a chance of freezing rain, breezy weather, a high of 33 degrees at the base, and 32 degrees at higher elevations. It is cloudy and 21 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph. Tomorrow, we plan to have the Sterling Lift operating. We have 21 trails open with terrain for experts and intermediates. Upper Rumrunner, Smugglers’ Alley, Treasure Run, Crossover, Lower Rumrunner, and Lower Exhibition will all be groomed for tomorrow. Surface conditions are machine-groomed and variable, with average base depths of 12 to 42 inches.
